Generation Subset is a feature that may be utilized post schedule generation. If a line goes down or certain employees need to be rescheduled, the user may select specific employees and re-generate only their schedule. There are two ways to create the generation subset.
OPTION #1
1. Click on the Scheduling icon .
2. Select Roster from the Schedule section.
3. Select the employee that needs to have their schedule generated or added to the Generation Subset by clicking on their name.
4. A menu will appear on the right-hand side of the page. Click on Other Actions.
5. Another menu will appear below. Click on Add to Generation Subset to add the employee to the Generation Subset.
Notes:
-When the user generates a schedule, a warning message should appear stating
that a generation subset is currently selected.
-If desired, you can add more employees to the Generation Subset by repeating
steps 1-4.
OPTION #2
1. Click on the Scheduling icon .
2. Select Roster from the Schedule section.
3. Select the settings wheel icon in the bottom left-hand corner.
4. From the Roster Options drop-down , select Generation Subset.
5. From the Employee Filters drop-down , select the desired employee filters.
6. Press the Apply button at the bottom of the configuration panel. The employees selected by the filters are shown on the bottom. These are the only employees that will be generated in the next schedule generation.
Notes:
-After the generation subset window has been closed, the user can view it
once again by clicking the settings wheel iconin the bottom left-hand corner
to open up the Roster Options menu. From the Roster Options drop-down menu,
select Generation Subset and the user will be able to see the generation subset
window once again. For both options, the user may now exit out of generation
subset and generate for the desired day. Generation subset will apply until one
of two conditions are met:
-The user refreshes or exits the Roster
-The user logs out
