Common Report Parameters
This article will walk the user through parameter items that are found within many reports and their basic functionality.
Period section - The section will help you set the specific time period of when you want to view your report
General/Name section - This section will allow you to create or enter the name of your report. This will show up on top of your report.
Note: Selecting the Show Row Number, your report will be arranged by the number appearing in front of each rows.
Filter section - This section will help you filter any types (e.g. Employees, Assignments, Leaves, etc.) of the filter following by conditions. There is two different filters:
- Meet all of the following conditions -> By selecting this filter, the results will be shown when they meet all of the conditions you impose
- Meet any of the following conditions -> By selecting this filter, the results will be shown when they meet any of the conditions you impose
Display Fields - This section will allow you to customize your report of what Display fields (generally employee related) you want to be shown in your report (e.g. First Name, Last Name, Seniority Date, etc).
Explanation on each symbol:
No Sort need
Sort text (A to Z), Sort time (Oldest to Newest)
Sort text (Z to A), Sort time (Newest to Oldest)
Switch/Arrange the column
Unselect the field
Events - This section will allow you to select what details you want to show on your reports. Some of the events will allow you to filter your specific details.
Event Fields - This section will allow you to customize your report of what Event fields you want to be shown in your report
Day Format - This section will allow you to select your desired style of each day. Clicks on button to see all available formats.
Header Day Format - This section will allow you to select your style of your selected period which it will appear on top of your report
Note: The Sample will show you exactly what your day format will be like. You can see the example below:
Day Info - This section involves the aggregates configuration on the Administration icon. Day Info will show your desired aggregates information. If you do not have an aggregate created already, follow the steps to Create an Aggregate Value.
Colored Fields - This section will highlight any desired fields in your report.
Print Preview VS Advanced
While Print preview is imposed by the default, the Advanced function from the dropdown will allow you to customize your report or select your report preference (e.g. Paging Options, Page Margin Options).
