Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is when two or more forms of authentication are used to gain access to a website or application. MFA is used in conjunction with a username and password.

How to log in with Backup codes
If you lose access to your authentication app, you can use one of the backup codes given to them during enrollment.
1. Open Indeavor and log in using your Username and Password.
2. When the MFA verification page shows up, click "I want to use my backup codes instead"
3. The backup code verification page will display. Enter one of your backup codes
4. If your code is correct, you will be logged in
Setting Up Multifactor Authentication when Mandated:
1. Open the Engage App or go to Indeavor Operate on the Web and log out if you have not already.
2. Log back in
3. Upon entering the correct Username and password, you will be directed to an enrollment screen
4. Copy the key that is displayed on the MFA enrollment page
5. Navigate to your Authenticator App and follow the instructions in the app to add a new authentication.
6. Once the correct key is entered from the MFA enrollment page, your authentication app will give you a 6-digit code.
7. Copy this 6-digit code, enter it into the verification page, and click verify.
8. You will now receive a list of backup codes. These are very important and should be saved somewhere. Backup codes can be used in place of the 6-digit code generated by the authentication app. Once a code is used, it can no longer be used again.
