Demand Planning allows users to create demands that will show as understaffed on the Roster page. This article will walk through adding posts to a demand using the Demand Planning Tool.
1. On the Indeavor Home Page, select the Demand Planning icon
- Make sure you're accessing data in the correct OU by checking the OU selected on the top-right corner of the webpage
2. Navigate to the Demand on the timeline and right-click on it and select the View Posts button
- To view the contents of a Labor Demand Template, select the Labor Demand Template name in the row in the timeline. This will expand the row and show the posts in the Labor Demand Template.
3. Select the Add Post button and complete the following before selecting the Save button:
- Select the Template Instance of the Post
Note: This will determine the specific date that the post will be demanded on.
- Use the drop-down menus to select the Job, Shift, Demand Category, and Location of the demand for the Post
- Select the Start and End time of the demand for the Post
- Select the staffing level required by adjusting the Employee Count
Note: If the Employee Count values are all the same, fill out the minimum value
and the others will be set to the minimum value. The minimum value can never be greater
than the optimum value and the optimum value can never be greater than the maximum
value.
4. Repeat Step 3 to add additional Posts until all the needed Posts are added to the Demand
5. Select the Save button to add the Post(s) to a Demand
