An asset could be used to track hours worked on a particular machine to provide greater exposure to depreciation and other costs.
1. Click on the Administration icon

2. Select Assets from Master Data section.
2. Press the + New button.
3. Enter the Name, Short Name, and Description of the Asset.
4. Select Organizational Unit from the Organizational Units drop-down menu 
.
5. Press the Save button.
