The Qualifications and Skills Matrix contains several report options around skills, competencies, and qualifications. All of these options will produce a matrix-style view where employees are represented as the rows of the matrix, and either jobs, locations, or skills are represented as the columns of the matrix.
**New Feature Coming Soon - Expected release is end of February**

General Configuration Details
Users have the option of saving their selected Employees and Jobs/Locations/Skills as a “Template” within the page. Templates can be saved by updating the filter criteria on the left side of the page, then either saving the changes to the existing template or using “Save As” to create a new Template.
Note: Templates are saved at the OU level. Navigating to other OUs will not carry
over the Templates. Templates cannot be saved at the User, Domain, or Role level.
Employees:
All employees will be selected by default. If you would like to limit the report to specific employees, you will need to click the box on the left hand side and then click the box next to the employees you would like included:
Once you have all of the employees that you would like included, you can then move on to the Criteria you would like included in the report.
Criteria:
Qualified - Setting the criteria to be “Qualified” will produce a matrix of all selected employees for each Job, Location, or Skill which will show whether the employee is qualified to the entity or not. For Jobs and Locations, these are “true” qualifications-- If an employee has a “Q” for the Job or Location, that means they can work the Job or Location. If an employee has a “-,” they are not qualified for the Job or Location.
Days Since Assigned - Setting the criteria to be “Days Since Assigned” will produce a matrix of all selected employees for each Job or Location which will show how many days it has been since the employee was last assigned to the Job or Location. This criteria does not support skills.
Once the employee has specified “Days Since Assigned” as their desired criteria, a new option becomes available where the employee can specify whether they want to check for assignments over the last 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.
End Date - Setting the criteria to be “End Date” will produce a matrix of all selected employees for each Job, Location, or Skill which will show when the qualification or employee skill will expire.
This matrix only shows expirations that are on future dates. All expirations
that occurred in the past will show the employee as not qualified.
Competency - Setting the criteria to be “Competency” will produce a matrix of all selected employees for each Skill which will show the employees competency level on the skill. This report does not support Jobs or Locations, for customers using “Qualifications” there is a Skill that corresponds directly to a Job or Location, so the competency criteria can be used in those cases.
Once you have selected Competency as your criteria, there is a new option to
specify the competency levels you would like to show in the report.
Field Type:
You have the option to select from Jobs, Locations or Skills. In each of these field types, All will be selected by default. If you would like to limit this report to only a specific Job, Location or Skill, you will then want to click the ,
or
button (These buttons automatically update depending on the Field Type you have selected).
Creating a template:
If you plan on reusing the filters you have applied on future reports, you are able to save the current configuration as a template. To save the current filters as a template, you will want to click the Save as button at the bottom of the filters:
Once you click the save as, you can enter the name that you would like to user for the template and then click the Save button:
Once you have saved the template, you can then select your saved template from the dropdown:
Indeavor Protip: You can edit the template by clicking on the pencil icon next to
the template name or you can delete it entirely by clicking on the trashcan icon.
Please keep in mind that if you delete a template it cannot be recovered.
Exporting the report:
In the upper right hand of the report is the button. If you click on this button, the export will produce an Excel file that contains all of the information in the grid.
