Employees can interact with each other and swap assignments on the Indeavor Engage mobile/Kiosk app. Then when they’ve accepted each other’s trades, the swaps will go to the supervisor for approval in the Advanced Features web app. This article will provide a walk-through of the available options.
Definitions
Swapping Management - a screen in Indeavor Engage/Kiosk that has Your Swaps tab and the Swap Board tab. Your Swaps tab shows any swap from now forward in time that you are involved in. The Swap Board tab shows any swap from now forward in time that others have put out there and are looking to trade or drop.
Dropped Assignment - an assignment that is going from one employee to another without receiving anything else in return.
Offered Assignment - an assignment that is offered from one employee to the swap board, looking for others to trade with them for it.
Direct Trade - when two employees are engaged in a swap, each exchanging something with another.
Statuses:
Offered - a swap that is offered and has no accepted counteroffers yet
Dropped Pending Pickup - an assignment that has been dropped and is available to be picked up
Picked Up Pending Approval - an assignment that has been picked up by at least one employee and is awaiting a supervisor to approve one of the employees to pick it up
Pending Others Action - an offer or trade that is pending acceptance or rejection, by the other employee you’re engaged in the swap with
Pending Admins Action - a swap that is pending approval or rejection by the supervisor or admin in swap approval
Accepted - a swap that has been accepted and is pending approval or rejection by the supervisor or admin in swap approval
Rejected - a swap that has been rejected either by the other employee that you were engaged with or by the supervisor or admin in swap approval
Swaps can be performed via:

Initiate Trade |
1. Click on the Initiate Trade option. 2. In the Candidate Swapping Items field tap on the plus sign for the assignments you want to trade and tap on the Next button One or multiple Assignments can be added. Tap on the minus icon3. Select the Employee you want to trade with 4. Choose from Candidate Swapping Items by tapping on the plus sign to add them to Their Items field 5. Once Swapping Items are added tap on Next button 6. View the Swap Summary and Submit if you agree with the selected items. Depending on your Organization's configuration a Supervisor will Approve or Reject the Swap. In the meantime, until the Supervisor's actions, these swaps will be displayed in a pending status |
Team Schedule | Tap on the menu and select Team Schedule |
Initiate Trade |
1. Select the employee you want to trade with. 2. Selected Employee's Schedule will be displayed and Assignments to trade with can be chosen. If you need to select another employee click again3. Select the Date/Assignment you want to request for trading by tapping on the Assignment exposed at the bottom of the screen. 4. In the Assignment Details screen tap on the Initiate Trade button. 5. Select any additional items you want to request from the other employee's schedule by tapping on the plus sign to add them in Swapping Cart field and tap on the Next button. 6. Select the items from your schedule you want to trade away by tapping on the plus sign and tap on the Next button. 7. View the Swap Summary and Submit if you agree with the selected items. In all the above-mentioned workflows only assignments that |

1. Tap on the Assignment exposed at the bottom of the screen. 2. In the Assignment Details screen tap on the Initiate Trade button. 3. In the Candidate Swapping Items field tap on the plus sign for the assignments you want to trade and tap on the Next button. One or multiple Assignments can be added.4. 1. Select an assignment from a day on the schedule 2. Tap Offer to Swap Board 3. Tap Just Offer this Item 4. Tap Submit Tapping the assignment again will allow a Remove Swap Offer if the user |
Drop Assignment |
1. Select an assignment from a day on the schedule 2. Tap Drop Assignment 3. If valid, select Conditional Leave 4. Tap Submit |

Accept or reject a swap offer requested by another employee |
1. Tap on the Your Swaps tab. This tab will display all the swaps you are involved in and the corresponding statuses for each of them. 2. Tap on any Swap in Pending Your Action status. 3. Tap on the Pending button and select either Accept Offer or Reject Offer. 4. In case the Offer is Accepted the Swap will be updated with a Pending Admin's Status. 2. If another user has made an offer a Pending offer will be displayed 3. Accept or Reject the offer After, the user will see it as Accepted. The supervisor must approve |
Pick up assignments dropped to the Swap Board |
1. Tap Swapping Board to view incoming/outstanding swap offers 2. If another user has made an offer a Dropped offer will be displayed 3. Tap Pick up Assignment After, the user will see it as Picked Up Pending Approval. |
Withdraw swap offers |
1. Tap Your Swaps to view the swaps you have submitted 2. Select the swap to withdraw 3. Tap Submit |
