Supervisors or Admins can Approve or Reject swap requests and dropped assignment pickups submitted by the employees.
1. Navigate to the Home Page by selecting the Indeavor diamond icon in the upper left corner of any Indeavor screen:
2. Click on Advanced Features.
3. Click on the Swap Approval icon from the menu on the left side.
4. Select Past or Future Period from the drop-down menu.
Note: Swaps in the past status can’t be approved or rejected, because some part
of them is in the past.
5. Select Pending Approval, Approved or Rejected from the Status drop-down menu.
Pending Approval
In this status, the supervisor/admin would see accepted swaps by the employees and assignments that are dropped and picked up by at least one employee.
Approving/Rejecting swaps

Approved: the assignments are exchanged and the employees will see that it’s approved in Indeavor Engage.
- Rejected: the swap is rejected and the employees will see that it’s rejected in Indeavor Engage.
Note: Approving swaps that trigger a constraint violation, will result in
the swap row turning red. The Supervisor (or Admin) will see that it violates a
constraint, and the swap can only be Rejected.
Approving swaps that will cause a validation error (such as the employee would
have two assignments overlapping at the same time) will result in a popup
explaining the error to the Supervisor.
Approving/Rejecting picked up dropped assignments

Approved: the employee who picked up the assignment can see that it’s approved in Indeavor Engage.
The employee that dropped the assignment can see that it’s approved in Indeavor Engage.
The rest of the employees who tried to pick it up will have their requests rejected, and they can see this status in Indeavor Engage. -
Rejected: the dropped assignment is rejected, the employees can see that it’s rejected in Indeavor Engage.

constraint, and the swap can only be Rejected.

Rejected: the dropped assignment is rejected, along with the leave request, the employees can see that it’s rejected in Indeavor Engage.

Approved
In this status Supervisors (or admins) can’t perform any actions. Swaps that were approved will display the Timestamp of when the approval action was performed as well as the name of the Supervisor who performed the action.
Rejected
In this status, the supervisor/admin can’t perform any actions. Swaps that were rejected will display the Timestamp of when the rejection action was performed as well as the name of the Supervisor who performed the action.
